Gould Pass Ruins

There are many ruins located on Gould Pass. This one is called the Citadel Ruin and is located on state land. Unfortunately the state has not stablized the ruins like the BLM has. This one is from the Navajo's during the Gobernador period.

This picture is very misleading as there is a big void between the mesa top and the actual ruin. Access is provided via a crude ladder and some un-natural body contortions.

The Gould Pass ruin is a pueblito with three rooms, one still in very good condition.. This is on state land and has not been stablized.

Gould Pass Ruin

This ruin has supprisingly little damage from the elements or from vandalizm. The roof of one room looks to be in very good condition. This picture was taken from the inside and gives a good representation of the roof and the walls.
